IslamTools 2.0.2 combines prayer times, Qibla, Quran reading and audio, 148 duas and 11 practical tools. It includes 12 prayer calculation methods, 3 English Quran translations, 2 tafseer choices, 2 adhan options and an interface translated into 14 languages.
The core IslamTools app is available for iOS and Android. Live Activities, Home and Lock Screen widgets, and CarPlay are iOS-only features; availability also depends on the iPhone, iOS version and system settings.
The IslamTools interface supports 14 languages: English, Arabic, Turkish, Indonesian, Malay, French, Urdu, Hindi, Persian, Spanish, German, Somali, Swahili and Bosnian.
Prayer times are calculated on your device from your selected location, calculation method, high-latitude rule, later-Asr preference and any manual offsets. IslamTools offers 12 calculation methods, but local mosques or authorities may use fixed timetables or adjustments, so compare the app settings with the source you follow.
iOS and Android control when apps may receive location changes in the background. For automatic travel updates, allow Always or Allow all the time location access, keep precise location enabled, allow background activity and avoid force-quitting or force-stopping IslamTools. Reopen the app once after changing permissions, restarting the phone or travelling; the support guide has platform-specific steps.
Prayer times can be calculated on-device once a location is known, and Qibla, saved settings, downloaded Quran audio and previously cached Quran content can work offline. First-time content loads, Quran audio streaming or downloads, connected search, hadith, tafseer, weather and optional Live Activity delivery require internet access. Quran audio downloads run while the app is open.
No account or sign-in is required. IslamTools does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. Prayer records, Quran progress, bookmarks and preferences are stored locally unless a specific connected feature explains otherwise.
Yes, only when a connected feature needs it. Quran content or audio, tafseer, hadith, weather and search may contact content providers, which can receive standard network request information such as an IP address. These requests are not used by IslamTools for advertising or analytics.
When you enable the optional iOS Live Activity, IslamTools sends anonymous installation and delivery tokens, a location label, your locale and a locally computed seven-day prayer schedule. It does not send separate latitude or longitude fields. Disabling the feature marks the backend record inactive and stops future Live Activity pushes, but it does not immediately delete retained backend rows. See the Privacy Policy for details.
