Does IslamTools collect any personal data?

Does IslamTools require an account?

No. IslamTools requires no account, no sign-in, and no registration. All features work immediately after download. Your prayer records, Quran progress, bookmarks, and preferences are stored locally on your device only.

How does the app work without collecting data?

Prayer times are calculated on-device using your GPS coordinates (never sent to any server). Qibla direction uses your device's compass locally. Quran text is fetched from our content server via anonymous requests with no user identifiers. All progress, bookmarks, and settings are saved locally on your device.

What languages does IslamTools support?

IslamTools is available in 14 languages: English, Arabic, Turkish, Indonesian, Malay, French, Urdu, Hindi, Persian, Spanish, German, Somali, Swahili, and Bosnian. Quran translations are available in multiple languages as well.

Features

How accurate are the prayer times?

IslamTools uses trusted astronomical calculation methods including Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian General Authority, Umm Al-Qura University, Karachi, and others. It supports all four madhhabs (Hanafi, Shafi, Maliki, Hanbali) for Asr calculation, high-latitude adjustments, and allows manual fine-tuning. All calculations happen on-device using your GPS location.

What Quran features are available?

The Quran reader includes all 114 Surahs with beautiful Arabic typography, multiple language translations, audio recitations by renowned Qaris, reading by Surah or Juz, bookmarking, progress saving, night mode, and search. CarPlay support lets you listen to recitations while driving.

What other Islamic tools are included?

Does IslamTools work offline?

Yes. Most features work without internet including Quran text (once loaded), duas, prayer tracking, Tasbih counter, and previously calculated prayer times. Only initial Quran text fetching and audio downloads require connectivity.
